Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is a natural way to support your postpartum recovery. Many mothers report improved mood, better emotional balance, and a reduced risk of baby blues or anxiety. The placenta contains nutrients that may help restore energy, support hormone regulation, and replenish iron levels, helping to reduce fatigue and prevent anemia.

Some also notice increased milk supply, faster physical healing, and a stronger sense of well-being during bonding. While every experience is unique, placenta capsules offer gentle, personalized support as your body and mind adjust after birth.

  • What’s in the Placenta That Supports Healing?

The placenta is rich in a unique combination of nutrients, hormones, and healing compounds that may support your body’s physical and emotional recovery after birth. Through encapsulation, these elements are reintroduced into your system to help promote healing, balance, and vitality during the postpartum period.

Some of the key components include:

    • Iron & B Vitamins (B6, B12) – Help restore energy, support red blood cell production, and reduce fatigue and risk of anemia.

    • Vitamin E – Protects cells and supports tissue healing.

    • Estrogen, Progesterone & Testosterone – Aid in hormone balance, mood stability, lactation, and reducing uterine cramping.

    • Oxytocin – Encourages bonding and may ease postpartum discomfort.

    • Stem Cells & Cytokines – Promote tissue repair and cellular healing.

    • CRH & TSH – Support mood regulation, metabolism, and stress response.

    • Prostaglandins – Help the uterus return to its pre-pregnancy state.

    • Cortisone & Interferon – Reduce inflammation and support immune function.

    • Placental Opioid-Enhancing Factor – May help ease pain and promote a sense of well-being.

While every experience is different, these naturally occurring compounds work together to gently support the postpartum healing process.

    • The placenta is first rinsed, the umbilical cord and amniotic sac are removed, and it is sliced to prepare for dehydration.

    • It’s then processed using your selected method (raw or steamed) and fully dehydrated.

    • Once dry, the placenta is ground into a fine powder and placed into capsules.

    • Capsules are quality-checked, cleaned, and bottled in a sanitized container.

    • All equipment is washed and soaked in a bleach solution for at least 10 minutes, then the prep area is disinfected to OSHA standards.

    • The capsule bottle is sanitized, dried, and labeled with your name and capsule count.

  • Sanitized & Sterilized Equipment

All of my tools and surfaces are cleaned using hospital-grade sanitation procedures after each use.

    Autoclaving & OSHA-Approved Disinfectants

Any equipment that comes into contact with bodily fluids and isn’t disposable is either autoclaved or sanitized with OSHA-approved disinfectants used in healthcare settings.

    NSF-Certified Stainless Steel Workstation

I use a high-quality stainless steel prep station, certified by theNational Safety Foundation (NSF). This material is specifically chosen for its ease of cleaning and resistance to harboring bacteria.
